Sub 3:30 long run pace

Main Post: Sub 3:30 long run pace

Top Comment:

Long runs - particularly over 30k - shouldn't all be at your goal pace. It isn't a race, and racing 30km+ several times in the weeks leading up to your race will probably take a toll. Long runs should be at an easier pace. Your 5:14 pace seems like the fast end of reasonable training.

As an alternative you could do some strides or intervals through your long run (say, 3 sets of 4x1km at your race pace, 500m recovery). You could also complement your long runs with speed work/interval sessions

Disclaimer: I'm just some stranger on the internet.

Is it Possible to speed run Hades 1 in 40 or 30 minutes

Main Post:

Do you know how long did you speedrun the game?

Top Comment: If you mean a single run, yes, speed runners can go much faster than that. I’m very average at speed runs and I want to say my fastest is 13 or 14 minutes. If you mean the entire storyline, I would doubt it but maybe it’s possible if someone really put their mind to it.

IS sub 30 for a 5km a good achievement?

Main Post:

Today I set my PB for a speed run at 28:40 for 5.1km. I thought this was pretty good and was really happy with my record but have seen on other sites and posts that this is actually quite doable and that most people should be able to do this?

For context, I'm female, 5ft 3 (160cm), 60kg, smoker, have been exercising for 6 years but mostly weights and very little cardio. I went on my first run about 6 weeks ago. The longest I've consecutively ran is 7.5km.

So, is this considered an "achievement" or is this a standard running pace for the majority of people?

Top Comment: It's an achievement for you. That's all that matters. Congratulations.

ex Rockstar Animator says he expects GTA 6 to run at 30 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.

He also says that by the time it comes to pc you'll be able to run it at 60 fps but I'm not sure if he meant on console or pc

Top Comment: It‘s a common misconception that frame rate is only about graphics. Rockstar games are notoriously CPU-heavy with all the simulation going on. They could certainly have a 60FPS mode while still good looking, but I think their CPU load is going to make that almost impossible.
